The purpose of World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves, beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion; and realise we are citizens of the world.
- To show your kindness and spread the good vibe you can say a few kind words of thanks or write a note of appreciation to your parents, a friend who is always there for you, groups who are helping the community, the environment, your coach or teacher.
- Tell someone you love and appreciate them – and do it often.
- Avoid negative self-talk.
- Donate clothing, toys, etc. to charities.
- Don’t criticise anyone’s dreams of the future.
- Send a card ( not an email) to a friend or relative you haven’t seen for some time. Include a photo of yourself and/or your family.
- Be considerate of other people’s feelings.
